You had fallen before you fell

Your tears

scatter and sting

like a hive

of bees

as you wonder

in full dream

not seen…

until a mirrored tree

smooth and

stripped of splinters

gifted you

a View

fully awake

now you know

You Had

Fallen Before

You Fell.

The wounds

on your hands

and knees

and Everywhere

were never

from the ground…

As you looked up

the sky locked

with your eyes

and the clouds

soaked up

your tears.
